Swami Vivekanand College of Education established in 2006 has deep roots and a relationship extending beyond generations with the teachings of Swami Vivekananda Ji . Ch. Dharam Singh Kamboj a strong believer and follower of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and ideologies formed. “Swami Vivekanand Educational Society” which is now running several schools and colleges successfully in the twin cities of Jagadhri and Yamuna Nagar.
Swami Vivekanand College of education is situated in Sec.18, Huda, Jagadhri. It has its own land of 3 Acres in which there are well furnished rooms, library, laboratories, multipurpose hall and administrative offices. It is a residential institution and provides cheap and modern residential accommodation to its students.
The ideals are kept alive by his son Sh. Kamal Kamboj the Chairman of the college with his determination to make this endeavor a success. The college stands amongst the best institutes of the city.
